How to Register
To register for an official SSAT test, you must first create an account with the SSAT website (if you haven’t already). You can do that by clicking here. Once you’ve created an account, login to your portal. Then, click SSAT Testing > Register for SSAT. If you need help with this, we can help you over the phone.
Scoring over Multiple Tests
- You can re-take the SSAT many times. Keep in mind that schools have registration deadlines, so that due date naturally limits how many tests you can take.
- If you do the test more than once, you can choose to submit the best score out of all your attempts. When registering for a test, the site will ask if you want to automatically send your scores to schools. We do not suggest this — instead, we suggest reviewing them before they get sent off. This way, you can choose to send in only one score: your best one.
- Some schools “superscore” over multiple tests; this means that if you have a high score in math on one test, but a high score in reading and verbal on another test, the school will consider the best sections over both tests, creating a “super” scored version of your results. Superscoring is not official advertised or facilitated by the SSAT. So, to find out if a school superscores, you will have to e-mail them or us.
- Scoring over multiple tests and superscoring are things we can help you with.
Learning Disabilities and Accommodations
Students with documented disabilities (including ADD/ADHD) can apply for accommodations. These can include extra time, smaller groups, or a calculator. Below is a step-by-step guide on how to make that request, as well as more information on what types of accommodations are available.
